"It's happening again!"

Recently I started to examine the doom riffs I've saved for later use since debut album - so the oldest riffs date back to Spring 2011. Got the feeling that now is the time. To start structuring the riffs and do some new composing, ... start making new material.

I took the riff I've been playing every now and then lately, very doomy riff I like a lot and got working with it. During this weekend the first new song base is close to ready and I just listened a demo version (drums, bass, guitars) of the song. Seems to be about 10 minutes long opener.

Feels really good, and I also crafted fitting guitar sound (ugly, primitive, noisy, yet suiting for melodic beautitudes too) and same with bassguitar sound.

The idea at this stage is to do the composing & structuring for all the songs that will come to me (be it those old riffs or new arrivals) and only after rough demo versions are done, then start recording the guitars and bass for keepers, not just loose playing.
