Instrumental edition of MES

While I was creating 'Morbid entropic spaces' I mentioned at some point, that I've got an idea for crafting slightly different sounding (drums, perhaps) and fully instrumental edit of this album. I've been working on this remix already during past few weeks and it has progressed quite far. Not just the drums might sound bit different but all the vocals, talks, shouts etc that once came out of my throat have been dropped away ... and perhaps bit surprisingly also all the space soundscapes have been dropped away. And the fadeouts the long songs have, are not fadeouts in this edit but long drone'ish ending passages that cut off abruptly (simply because they were originally recorded for fadeout endings) where the recorded guitars / bass end.

Personally I like how this instrumental edit is turning out. It's in a way quite different to the 'Morbid entropic spaces' with full vocals and more bombastic drums, space soundscapes and all that. It's also interesting soundscape edit in the way that you can better hear what's happening with the keyboards in the background - it's not necessarily all that obvious on the album itself, that there are keyboards most the way through. It's much more obvious in this instrumental edit.

I haven't decided yet the release date for this, but I don't think it's coming out right away simply because the actual album just came out and I like to give it all the attention it deserves. I truly like the way it came out. This instrumental edit might come out sometimes like ... late summer perhaps? We'll see.

PS: I will write deep details / background for 'Morbid entropic spaces' sometimes in the summer, or perhaps late summer only. After the album has been out there for some months or so. Stuff that gives some strong extra effect to some of those songs.
